To those thinking of ordering a windshield: 

We know that an investment like this must be made with answers to very important questions.  Unlike our competitors, you will never be charged for extra handling or for the special shipping carton we use, which is designed specially for shipping windshields.  The price you see here is the true final price before shipping charges.  Windshields must, with the excpetion of two piece, be shipped by freight truck.  We have tried shipping some of the smaller, (Hawk and 47-52 1 pc.) by UPS but 3 out of 5 were broken.   With energy prices soaring, we are working hard to keep shipping reasonable and have negotiated a special rate with our carrier.  With very few exceptions, domestic shipping is $110. when we bill the shipping.  If you can negotiate a better rate, please do!  It is our desire to provide everything we sell to you at a fair and affordable price, as we, too, are restoring  & preserving Studebakers! Regarding breakage:  All shipments are insured and our current carrier, while not perfect, has never denied a claim!  Questions, please call us M-Su 8 am 10 pm Mountain time.
